Experience
I worked clinically with dyslexic students for almost 15 years at Speech-Learning Connections and in learning disabled classrooms in the Bloomington-Normal area. My passion is helping children succeed, not only in school, but more importantly in life. Having both worked in the schools with children with learning disabilities in the public schools with reading struggles has given me a unique perspective on the daily stress, low-self esteem and frustration that children with reading struggles go through every day. Having had a child with a learning struggles gave me a unique perspective as a teacher/parent into the commitment it takes to succeed. I have many favorable recommendations available upon request. Or they can be accessed at bndyslexiatutoring.com
