Experience
I went to Bowdoin College for my bachelor's degree in Africana studies. I also earned the minor in French. I then had the opportunity to work at Fay School, where I was an admissions officer, teacher of ESL, French, and ethics and wellness, coach of the track and field and basketball teams, and a dorm parent. I then went on to Columbia University to earn my masters degree in education policy. I love the education field, and I love working with people have a desire to learn. I believe activities and practice are the best ways to help students learn successfully, along with encouraging students to take charge of their own success. I enjoy tutoring students in French, mathematics, and English as a second language. I'm originally from Senegal, and I enjoy choreographing and dancing in West African styles.
